Educational change in the modern era is characterized by advances in technology, changing student characteristics, the diversification of instructional methods, and increasingly complex competency demands. These changes require not only the acquisition of knowledge and skills but also an educational approach capable of fostering character and developing students’ potential holistically. In this context, Ibn Sina’s educational thought warrants renewed examination. This article aims to analyze Ibn Sina’s educational thought and identify possibilities for its actualization in modern education. The study employs a literature review using a descriptive-analytical approach. The sources include scholarly articles addressing Ibn Sina’s educational thought, as well as works related to his philosophy and educational ideas. The analysis focuses on four aspects: educational aims, curriculum, instructional methods, and the role of educators. The findings indicate that Ibn Sina viewed education as a process of holistic human development encompassing physical, intellectual, moral, and practical dimensions. The curriculum should be adapted to students’ developmental stages, talents, and inclinations. Instructional methods should be selected according to the characteristics of the subject matter and students’ conditions, while teachers should serve both as instructors and role models. These ideas can be actualized in modern education through student-centered learning, character development, practice-based learning, and strengthened teacher professionalism.
